ugly seagull shadowbox to artsy memorial shadowbox

i found these 2 shadowboxes with seagull sitting on wood pilings for $2;00. and remade them into a memorial box for my niece that passed away. i took it apart repainted the inside after adding a textural paint on the back crackle painted the front frame (red and black were her fav colors). the butterfly is made from shrinkplastic, the glass heart has her ashes fused into the center (white area) and i put her name on an altered domino using alphabet stickers, and added a rosary onto the bottom. i put it all back together and here are the before and completed pics of the project. i made 2, one for my sister (her mother) and one for my other niece (her sister). i broke the glass on one of them, while putting them back together and liked them better without the glass.

But the craft itself is really awesome, too.  I love the use of that rich red, you used it to great effect with lots of contrast with the other parts.  Great job!
