This is a simple story of trash to treasure. I wanted a heart wreath for the front door, but most things they have for sale for valentine's Day are TACKY!!! I figure I can keep this up for a while.
It's made from a cardboard cutout of a heart 17"X14", and then the roses are made from a stained white sheet, and hot glued on. The stain on the sheet was ugly, but twisted up into the center of the roses, it tuned out beautiful. Cost for this project $0000000 and 1 blister from a hot glue gun mishap.

This is beautiful!

I recently made a heart wreath but I might need to take a stab at one of these. Grin

just threw away a stained sheet last night Sad it had been used as a tablecloth and had wax, but there totally would have been enough fabric for this! *jealous*

That's the hard thing about being a crafter. I want to keep EVERYTHING because I know I can use it for something.

Gorgeous!  I totally just made one for my front door, too (except I used fake flowers instead of a sheet), and I, too, have a nasty blister from the hot glue gun.  Small world!  Smiley
