So... it's okay if we uses something that's already hardwired to move or light up and incorporate that into our project?  (I don't really trust myself with electricity. Like if I use a light bulb, I can just rip apart a lamp, I don't have to dig into 6th grade science?)

Sad i got far too over ambitious especially as i know nothin about electric's i haven't even finished designin it let alone have it made by deadline :-( will have to miss out on this one :-(
