Spent about 3.50 all together...the clock was 3 bucks and the old disney snack plate was 50 cents...used some hot glue and construction glue...a couple of fresh coats of acrylic paints...and some craft foam bits for the rocket tail...and a new fun Moon clock...

Started to take apart the clock...drilled a hole in the plate to put the clock bits through...

Cut up the house part...glued the plate in place...

Started the base coats of color...on the night sky...and the moon face...

Ta-da...Moon clock...made out of an old clock and end of the road snack kid's plate...a new life fer both...

Covered up the glue globs with some hot pink eco felt...

This pic was just to show how the rocket was made...

That's so cute! The original clock was ick, but now it's something my kids would fight over to have in their room!

That's so cute!
I wouldn't have thought to do that, now I'm thinking of the possibilities.

Helen Magnus: No killing!
Nikola Tesla: Said the woman with a gun to a vampire.

The Doctor: Shout if you get into trouble
River Song : Don't worry I'm quite the screamer.. now there's a spoiler for you .

I *Love* the little rocket bit!  Nice touch!

I am looking for:

As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I fell in love with it.  I didn't know yet that it is a clock.  The round face looks so sweet and cute. Who wouldn't fell in love with him?  When I learned that it was made into a clock, I thought, wow, such creativity!  Smiley

When I'm not making crafts, I'm dreaming them up!
