I clicked on this because you know **NEON!!!!**, to find not only it was an awesome process that I could do but that you painted in one of my favourite motels ever!  Years ago we took a road trip from Northern Alberta down to Arizona to drive some of the 66 with a couple of my kids and went to Tucumacari just to stay at the Blue Swallow.

I could live at the Blue Swallow. I've actually started taking paying mural gigs lately so I can pay off my house faster and run away to Tucumcari, where I intend to build a tiny, off-grid house just outside of town, watch the sun rise over Tucumcari Mountain every morning while I drink my coffee, and soak up the soft argon glow of the Blue Swallow a couple of times a week while Kevin and Nancy and I bounce around ideas for promoting tourism in town.

And it really is the easiest process ever. You could have the Blue Swallow all over your bedroom wall in a weekend. Smiley

This is wonderful! These are so realistic it's hard to believe they aren't actual neon until you see the in-progress shots.

I've been following your blog for years, but I hadn't realized you were on Craftster. Of course you are! Cheesy I hope you do get to build that little off-the-grid house overlooking the neon sunset. You deserve it!
