Dilapidated medicine cabinet to sweet new message center

I searched for ugly but all I could find was this rather sad icky little medicine cabinet for $5.  No shelves. Horrid little knobs on the false drawer. I also found a cardboard backed cork board for $3. It is pictured with a pretty yellow pillowcase that I thought I would use, but didn't. And those little fruit jars have been waiting in my pantry to be used for something wonderful. I did purchase the contact paper for the inside, but everything else I used was from my stash of treasures.
The outside is all hand painted. I replaced the mirror with the cork board which is covered with scrapbook paper, and the center rectangle is a metal panel that I also covered in paper. The inside of the cabinet is covered in contact paper. On with it then..
