Last saturday I had a banquet for drama club at school, which was pretty formal. Saturday at 10 in the morning, I started on a dress (which had been in my brain for weeks) I was nearly done with it when my mum decided we should rip it apart and make it COMPLETELY different. The banquet was at 5:30 and my poor boyfriend sat on the couch waiting for me to finish it (we left at 5:45, haha)
Overall, I think it was worth it! I am really pleased. No pattern, completely winged-it. Credit to my mum for her help (even though I did most of it Smiley )
Thanks for looking!

the whole dress

top detail

the biggest error: the straps weren't the same length! but who cares?

and the last. gotta show of the cute boy, too Smiley

thanks for lookin, craftsters!

wow, that's great!
i always seem to find that the things i do very quickly with no planning - and preferably in my underwear, waiting to put it on & dash out the house! - always work out the best..... haha!

Thank you all so much! I did get lots of compliments, and since it was for a theatre group, I'm afraid they might put me on costume crew, hahaha.

I've never thought that about him before, I showed him this thread and he said he had no idea what you were talking about. But hey, Ashton is a cutey, so no problems there.
Thanks guys!
