wow! thank you for your lovely responses! I enjoyed making the lace like that but blimey attaching it was hard!

Its not wrong to like the before dress! lol I could see good things in it when I found it, and the drop waist was really nice too- this would have been a vest top if not for that being on the original!
Its really nice to get such positive feedback! I haven't been putting myself out there for the world for very long- I was chicken for ages and its a lot easier when people are nice about the things you do so thanks again!

Well, the good news is that if there were that many pins in the dress, nobody ever wore it.
(Also, those rusty pins would be really cool on an ACEO collage)

Your final project looks cool.  Awesome that the ladies at the thrift were into your project!

lol- thats a good point you have there! I am glad noone ever wore that- I tried it on for a before shot and felt the stabby stab of pins about to break skin and was SUPER careful taking it off again!

It was so fun in the sally army shop with the ladies they were loving it! which reminds me I promised to show them what I did cos they didn't believe anything good could come of this dress! Apparently they'd had it for quite a while! I wish I'd taken pics of some of the other stuff they brought up to show me, there was much hilarity while we were looking at things!
