Ooh, I'm going to make one of these!  I love rocks.  I used to have a drawer full of them from collecting them outside our house (the street in front of our house was the low point of the neighborhood next to a drain so all kinds of rocks would collect there).   It would be a great gift for my parents.   I don't know how long it took you to make one, but they would be really good as stepping stones.

I dunno about me standing on it barefoot though.  My parents' driveway and patio are made of those small rocks and I could NEVER stand on them barefoot my entire life.  They were all rounded too.  And of course, where  you step down from anywhere thats were the builders put the biggest rocks.  The tiny rocks were okay to stand on, but the big ones hurt so bad!   I'm hardly ever barefoot outside though anyway, so I'm still making one for myself  Smiley

Cool, very original!
I bet if I tried it, none of the stones would fit together...

Absolutly love the mat!!
One of your messages was about there being a mess from the adhesive going through the rubber grip stuff.  Is the rubber grip just to prevent the mat from slipping?  If so, you could cover the rubber with something so you have a flat surface with no holes... maybe something else cheap like clear contact paper and that would prevent the adhesive from oozing through and making a mess.  Just a thought Smiley
