Wool Felt Valentines

I made these for my son's preschool class friends.  Just a simple little design using wool felt, heart stitch accents, and a heart snap.  I think I will make some heart shaped crayons to go in them along with some stickers or a sucker.

I can't remember where I got the snaps. I wish I knew. 
You do need a snap press to put these kind of snaps on.

I love homemade valentines. that's a great idea, you can put anything in for any holiday or gift as well. I love also, that your child doesn't have to feel awkward for having the same valentines as someone else.

I just ordered felt a few days ago to make something similar. I was going to handstitch mine on the sides, but these appear to have been machine stitched and they look great.  I especially love the heart embroidery detail around the envelope flap. Just darling!
