i am finallly done, yay! i think i would use a lighter yarn with more drape if i were to do it again (i used red heart misty, as it's what i had), but i like it. toward the end i thought i was never going to finish -- it's huge at the end!

I've seen a lot of versions of different capelets in the past year or so, and this is the first one I've liked.  Perhaps it's the way you've done it, but regardless, I really like it. Smiley

thanks for all the compliments, guys! i ran it through the delicate cycle in my washing machine and let it airdry, and it's super soft and i think i like it even more! it drapes a bit better now.
it's an easy pattern - i didn't do the under-ruffle because i ran out of yarn, but it's so full at the bottom, it really is like a little cape.

I like it!!  I looked on the site, that pattern is $7.00!  I can't afford that, just for one pattern.  Oh well i guess i can admire yours.... Tongue

it was really easy, i swear! the beginning was the trickiest thing, as you made a knit-in hem, but it's not difficult. it's just a lot of yos and stockinette. it takes time, though, since at the end, depending on the size you make, you're working with upwards of 300-400 stitches. i'd love to see more of them, if anyone else has made one.

oh! link!

Gee, this makes me a bit sad.  The Stitch Diva is trying to make a living as an independant knitwear designer, seven bucks at a time, y'all.  I sometimes regret the "if I can't get it free on the internet, I don't want it" attitude.
