in my cooking class we have to plan and make a meal for are exam.i was wondering if anyone have any ideas for decoration for the table. if you have any ideas just say them i need as many as i can! thanks

well, I am from Australia, and I just had a cheeseburger for lunch!! lol .. but I 'spose that's not what you had in mind!! hehe
 
anyway...ideas;

- aussie flags
- gum leaves/ gum nuts (hope you know what they are) very aussie
- find some pics of aussie landmarks (sydney opera house, ayres rock etc), laminate them and use as placemats/coasters
- see if you can find an australia newspaper to lay on the table in place of a tablecloth
- the traditional colours are green and gold (but the gold is more a yellow, not actual gold) you could try using them somehow
- famous aussies picture (don't quite know what idea to use with this!) nicole kidman, russell crowe etc

a big thing in australia now is to use aussie 'bush' foods .. lots of native herbs and things
such as bush tomato, lemon myrtle, wattleseed .. do a serach to on this to see what I mean

by the way.. these things are all what I think non-aussies think of australia .. none of us REALLY use them!! lol
