Howdy! So, last weekend, I was poking around my favorite craft sites, (as usual) and I happened upon this very craft challenge! Immediately, I set to work, and went through all the hidden 'junk' in my house.  I found, among other things, a lovely little old fashioned clock I remember buying at a huge summer garage sale for 2 dollars.  I set the set to work!  This is the original clock:

And here it is, spiffier:

I would like to note, that the octopus's name is Wally, and the dinosaur is Larry.  Cheesy, they really like to have tea parties.

I hope your wearing comfy shoes, cause today's gonna be a freakin' adventure!

I LOVE IT!!! I'm totally going to wist this when I'm back on my lappy instead of a dumb ole work computer!... dinosaurs are the coolest things around (well.. that were around I guess)

And on a side note Octopus's Garden is my new favorite Beatles song.. I basically need to make this clock for myself Smiley

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing!!

Aaaahhhh! Too Cute!
When I first saw the picture of it I assumed it would be painted and refaced. This is so so much better.

To put the pieces on, I made foil lumps that were the same shapes as the clock curve, then backed the clay guys, and glued them on with E-6000, though any super strong glue would probably work.  Also, the dinosaurs name is Larry, and the octopus is Wally  Smiley.
Thanks for all the great comments!
