I love your aesthetic and humor (the snails holding the columns, great! Reminds me, have you seen Despicable Me? There's a scene in there that reminds me of that)! Beautiful from afar and close up. There are so many wonderful things to discover like the mushroom in the keyhole. And, too many photos! No way. Thanks for taking us on your journey Smiley

old postage, bottle labels (of any kind), cigar boxes, stuff written in other languages (ie newspapers), letters in any language, old pictures, bottle caps, wine corks, old paper currency, scraps of craft paper, etc...

Yep, I water them right down so that they are really more inky than paint. I try to work in layers to get better depth but I get too excited impatient and sometimes lay it on a bit thick.
