Hi

I have only just starting sewing and I managed to borrow a sewing machine from my next door nieghbour ... After a few days of hesitaition and You Tube 'in to try and find out how to load the machine ( I get very confused easily ) I have completed my 1st sewing project ..

I used a dress of mine that I had bought in sales ( without trying it on !! ) BUT it was too big for me  I was going to make it into a skirt but I LUSH bags so thought this would be an easier project for my first time !!

Okay so my stitching isn't amazing but it was my first time and I am v v nervous about sewing my fingers

Here's the results ;

BEFORE :: ( I cut the dress up first then remembered I wanted a 'before' shoot so it's been placed back together LOL )

AFTER ::

Thankyou y'all for looking  Cheesy x

Have you ever sewn before? I think it look so great. I love the way you used the flowers and added the buttons.. really adds to it!

Awww thanks .. No i've not sewn before . i did a few bit at school for my GCSE but that was like 11 years ago :/ .. and I failed soooooo bad with my sewing back then .

 I'm glad you liked the buttons ... It's sooo cazy how a simple button can add so much character .

 Thanks for your comment Cheesy x
