that is absolutely gorgeous. i especially love how you painted the sakura itself. Smiley and i would love to see how this looks after you add the windblown petals.

just a comment, feel free to ignore this: i'm not so sure about how the chain itself looks. maybe a more delicate chain? i think it would set off the pendant even more. just my two cents worth. but i do love it. Smiley

lol not all blood and flesh huh? This is wonderful Candace! I love the freeform of the branch but the blending in the flower petals is excellent, I love the flower  Grin

Yeah, a smaller chain would probably be nicer. I opted out of the wind blown petals on this one but intend on making a much more intricate neck piece (like a collar almost) with many more sakuras and branches and windblown petals. I will be working on it in the next week. As well I will be working on a sakura branch necklace with a twist (my flowers of the depths horror series flowers)
