I love this awesome to make for little girls to play dress up. one question couldn't you just tie the yarn to the lace instead of using wire.

Yes, you can definitely just tie the yarn, if you don't want to use wire.  I just liked the look of the wire for these falls. Smiley

And coincidentally, Spotlight had EXACTLY the right yarn skeins on sale for $4 instead of the usual $10. I'm definitely supposed to make these Cheesy
