This is my gnome on a knoll pincushion.

He is entirely handstitched in eco felt.  The base is about the diameter of a regular soda can, and the tip of his hat almost reaches to the top of the same can, so he is pretty little, as is his mushroom buddy.
I had originally planned to embroider flowers around the base, but I STILL cannot do a lazy daisy.  So the mushroom border was born (with french knot dots!)

I made up the pattern as I went along.  If I make another gnome knoll, I will tweak him a bit, maybe a bit chubbier.  Not sure yet.

I whipped him up for the One World One Heart blog event on now.
