That plushie is amazing! I love Kitty Pryde, I painted her on my bookcase! Seriously, she's my favourite character of all time, which makes that plushie just like, a million times more amazing.

Kitty Pryde's the best! I'm kind of obsessed, I bought her first appearance issue in Uncanny X-Men, that ran me a pretty penny, and I just recently bought the most amazing Kitty Pryde Bust (http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Collection-Kitty-Pryde-Fine/dp/B001M4QQLU%3FSubscriptionId%3D1YKJ59ZKKDDTRYYB5NR2%26tag%3Daldouspibooks09%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB001M4QQLU). Sadly here in Canada that cost me way more, but it was worth every penny.

so glad you love him, gypsy. Smiley even if he has no legs and a butt full of rice. i originally wanted to make a rogue poppet, then realized 2 things. 1. it would be nearly impossible for me to not keep her, as she's one of my favorites too. 2. i didn't have enough time.

lockheed should've been an immediate thought, when i thought about it, i think i actually facepalmed.

i really hope you enjoy the dark tower novel. my boyfriend grabbed it up and plowed straight through it as soon as i bought it and set it down while i was crafting. good sign, right?

i love your package too. i will get pictures up tomorrow or friday. thanks for an awesome swap, partner!

I received from Ryn!  Grin  We had agreed to send two crafted items--one based on the book we were sending and one based on our favorites.  She sent me Chew vol. 1, which looks like fun and I can't wait to read it!  A felt can of beets, from Chew, (which has me even more intrigued)--I love the details and it's a perfect pencil cup for my desk. Smiley  And a necklace of Spider Jerusalem's glasses from Transmetropolitan!!  So awesome.  And a Green Lantern ring extra, which I just might have put on my finger and started reciting the Green Lantern oath as soon as I pulled it out of the envelope...  Wink

Thanks Ryn!!

stupid camera broke, and my cell charger broke. when it rains, it pours...

here's my awesome package from 1watermonkey, ignore the crappy cell pictures, they don't do anything justice.

my novels, which i'm super excited to get started on!

my cute cute decopaged harley flats!

and my favorite, little nightcrawler!

she said he was her first plushie of his kind, and i think she did an awesome job. i took a picture smooching his cheek, but i looked like a creeper, so i decided to give him a solo pic. Smiley

I received from rhapsody today! It's absolutely amazing!

First off a super cool tote bag inspired by I Kill Giants! (We both really like that graphic novel, and you should all check it out)

Next, the graphic novel she sent was the first volume of Transmetropolitan with an amazing stuffie of the main character!

Thanks so much rhapsody! I love everything, and I'm super excited to read Transmet!

I've received from Glamis!!! I really hope she receives within the next couple of days too, cause they said about a week!
Here is the group shot of awesomeness:

There is a walking dead purse, Waltz With Bashir graphic novel, a farside book, ritter chocolate, and a nifty card.

Close ups!
The wonderful innards of the purse! LEOPARD PRINT! My favourite! eeeee!

The coolest card ever. I wanted to do something like this... but it never happend. Probably good I didn't as this card would outshine my attempt for sure!

I love everything, and I cannot wait to read the graphic novel. I also enjoy farside so I know it will be good! Thank you Glamis!!! Grin

Glad you liked it. Hope you like the novel too. I haven't received yet. That is kind of strange cause it usually takes way longer from Germany to the US than the other way round..

well, I'm in Canada... and I know they have a reputation for being slow, but I paid extra money so it would get there fast! Now I am starting to worry. Specially cause they said a week to 10 days. I hope its just customs or something and it makes its way through!  Sad

HOORAY! I finally received! Unfortunately it was the second package Eira sent. The first one got lost somewhere. Hope she get refund for it.
So here is what she made for me:
An awesome crocheted, zombie inspired notebook

a button with an image from "the walking dead" and a smashed maple cream egg. Delicious!

She also sent two very interesting novels. First "embroideries". I already read a few pages and it is as good as a play!

and second "destiny" which sounds very promising too.

Thank you very much Eira. I am so glad that the package made it here this time and it was totally worth the wait! Hope you liked "waltz with bashir" too...

Soooooo glad you received! I wasn't sure what I would do if that one went missing too! Sorry the egg got smooshed! I figured it would happen, but it was too tasty not to send. Happy reading!  Grin

Guys, I am one lucky bitch. The first package Eira sent (and that we thought was lost)  showed up yet. And it is as awesome as the second one.

She made me a hilarious "be prepared" pillow cover with little pockets and a felt emergency kit, an axe and waterproof matches. So clever

She also made an awesome magnet inspired by prettysoldier77´s wall art and sent some Thrills gums (So funny)

And she spoiled me rotten with 2 novels and 2 comics: Fables: Legends in exile (already read, have to get all the other ones, it is witty and funny), wasteland 01 (I love postapocalyptic stuff), Baltimore the plaque ship (very cool too) and zombies vs robots (still unread)

Thank you SO VERY MUCH Eira for sending me two superneat packages and I am really relieved that all the crafty stuff and the effort you put in it got to my home instead of getting lost somewhere. I am going to send you some more too!

I'm glad it showed up and wasn't stuck in limbo somewhere! It made me sad that it would go to waste sitting around in a warehouse full of lost mail or something. I feel super relieved.  Grin
