Work.... wait.... work.... wait....
Currently waiting.
Eighteen days until deadline, and I hope I'm not behind schedule!

The problem with working on ceramics at a large studio is that timelines aren't always in my own hands.  I put something on the shelf and wait for it to reappear magically, fired and ready for the next step.  I put my piece on the bisque firing shelf today, and I hope it doesn't take too long to make it into the kiln.  Once it comes back, then I have to glaze and put it on another shelf for glaze firing.  So that makes two different times when timing is out of my hands.  I just have to wait--and to hope I get lucky with kiln placement.  I hope this isn't one of those times when it sits for weeks!

Oh, now I'm just getting pessimistic.  Pass the ice cream.

whew, i found someone to go out for drinks with tonight so i dont have to hide in my room while hubby has a friend over for drinking and video games and all around dorky yucky boy stuff.

and provided i am not hungover (cross your fingers) i will start the awesome tomorrow morning before the bot goes to curling.  but the new awesome requires steady hands and nerves of steel.  what i am playing with makes my rotary cutter look like a cuddly puppy.
