maybe its just me..but ever since i've learned how to sew, whenever i watch a movie i become more focused on what the characters are wearing and thinking "i could totally make that!"

how bout everyone else?

btw, what started me on this was the blue pregnancy dress for padme when i saw star wars 3 today..so pretty!

Oh, I loved Padme's clothing! I also loved her hair... lol. The one outfit she wore right before she passed out and Anakin went crazy on her was really nice... that tan thing with a brooch in the middle. I wanted it. lol

yup i definitely watch the clothes as much as the story in some movies...not all, just depends. i've never seen the notebook, but from the pics, i have to say the main character in the movie (can't remember her name right now!) has amazing clothes. i love the vintage style.

I so do that too. I bought The Cell not because I thought it was a good movie but because the costumes were so damn fantastic. The Red & Black dress J. Lopez wears when she is a slave is so amazing.

You need to see it! I LOVE it and I love Rachel McAdams (the main girl). Her clothes and her hair...I wish I could pull off hair like that. It makes me want to go back to the 40's and stay forever.

Allie's clothes in the notebook were gorgeous. It's very difficult to find clothing like that in good condition so it makes me verrry jealous. Especially her shoes. I have been searching for a pair of ruby patent leather wedges ever since I saw the movie... Good luck finding 40s shoes in a size 8.5 though!!! Sad

i love vintage clothing too! That's why movie costumes really appeal to me. (my current fetish is violet's dress from the lemony snickets movie)

One day, when my sewing skills become somewhat creditable, I'd love to make some of these costumes.

I look at this post yesterday.  And know you have me looking at all the clothes instead of the movie.  LOL
