heheh I'm finding the galleries confussing that way too.

Since you like the fabric so much I thought I'd show you what it was originally used for...

It was one of the fabrics I was given for this challenge.  I'm so glad you like the card!  I love those brads and was tickled to finally use them LOL

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

All the cards are amazing!

The leaf card is make with double sided tape with a silk leaf stuck in the center.  On the rest of the exposed tape, I poured on micro beads (tiny beads with no holes).  I didn't think that the tape is strong enough to hold the beads though a lot of directions say they are.  I went over the beads with a coat of clear nail polish to glue it all down.

The foil card, I made with plain ol kitchen foil.  Again, I applied double sided tape to a card base.  Then I dropped down the shapes which were other cardstock squares and large sequins and put the foil over that.  I did smooth the foil first and I think that's why it stayed smooth, but I also rubbed the foil down is a very gentle way.  Very slowly and gently rubbing it down and slowly increasing the pressure.

I did read that aluminum tape works great for this technique, but the stuff I picked up at the store had printing all over it Sad

The UFO is also double sided tape and kitchen foil.

Why, yes, I do love double sided tape!

The occult cards are so full of detail.  So too is the Thanksgiving count down card.  So much info in o little space!

The paper cut hedge hog is so cute!

ummmm....I am pretty much in awe of blupaisan right now. This card is amazing. Behold for my 'doorways' them -the Rainbow beaded curtain

I can't even imagine how long this took and not to mention the wherewithal not to strangle something while doing it!
and it opens to reveal the classic 70's room that could be right out of a TigerBeat magazine! I pined for one of those chairs as a kid. Cheesy

Wow! Really awesome blu! Not sure how you kept yourself from sending this to me!

OOHHH!!! Beaded Doorways and Tiger Beat memories!

A little scary that those memories can resurface so easily.  Maybe I should add Shaun Cassidy to my list Wink

great job, Blu!

I received two great cards in the past couple of days - I've been too lazy to go to the mailbox on a daily basis  Roll Eyes

Anyway, for my theme of "realistic insects", Eveamlizya sent me this lovely butterfly card:

I love it - it's simple and beautiful.

And for my theme of "anatomic illustrations", I received this perfectly disturbing card from Curiousfae:

Just what I had in mind Smiley

Thank you both!

blupaisan, I always am so enamoured by your cards! That doorway is so so great.
and Curiousfae, the mouth card is fascinating - as tristitia said, kinda disturbing, yet alluring.
