I received from tristitia today for occult which I was so excited about.

It was so much more than I expected!!!   Grin

The image in the middle is symbolic of Putrefactio (meaning decay), which is the 5th stage of an alchemical process.  Putrefactio is where the items used in a process are purified by fire.  It's also known as the blackening stage, which moves on to the whitening stage.  The skeleton and crow are symbolic of death and transition.

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

I got a wicked ATC for my crypto topic today from MunLtStmpr, AND a cool extra card too Grin

If you didn't believe before you should now. Because Bigfoot says that Nessie (or is it Canada's Ogopogo?) says that the aliens told her that they are all REAL!!  SO see?? Finally PROOF Grin And you can see that Bigfoot has a belly button, so they are clearly mammals.

And here is my sparkly extra card. The leaf is burnt into shape. And the back ground is these tiny tiny pearls...it looks like they are glued on to the card some how...How did you do that MunLtSmpr?  ANd thanks so much for the cool cards Grin

MunLtStmpr gave me two cards as well!  A very generous lady she is. She also handmade the greeting card in her fake note card swap. My theme is postage stamps which she did with great aplomb and I cannot figure out how Mun got the second one to do what it did. Tin foil (or gee maybe I am wrong) is put over shapes and the shapes come thru. I thought you'd have to rub the stuff like crazy to get the shapes to show. but the foil is nice and smooth.  thank you, Mun, I love both of them!

Such great cards!!  My guess is it aluminum tape.  I think that is how she did my space ship at least.  I'm very fond of the stamp one, but partly as it is a sign to me.  Earlyer I thought I should save all the stamps I get from swaps and cover "something"..and now I know I am going to cover my next ATC book with said stamps!  Thanks for the idea Mun

Oh, how silly of me.  I originally posted this in the gallery for the January swap.  Oops.  d'oh!  My mistake!  Now it's in the right gallery!

I received the most amazing ATC from suereal on my Countdown to Thanksgiving theme!

So bright and cheerful and just the colors I love!  I mean, this is an amazing ATC!  I simply adore it!  What a great addition to my collection!  Thanks so much, suereal!   Grin Grin Grin
