I bow to your blackwork abilities. Some day, I hope to try my hand at that craft, but I haven't worked up the courage just yet. Your stitching looks absolutely amazing. I can't believe how perfect and even you kept it for such a long piece of work. Bravo!

Wow, this is amazing. Blackwork and stitching on something than aida are both on my list of things I want to try so this is a wonderful inspiration.

UPDATE: 30/02/11

The collar in action - we quickly realised it was an inch short either side so more sewing happened - my housemate also asked me to embroider down the front of the partlet.  This is the result:
