I recently came across a site called Soul Journaling with Sarah Whitmire and have decided to challenge myself to do the 22 Days of Soul Journaling as I figured that it might be quite beneficial to me.

You can check out the prompts here:
http://www.souljournaling.com/prompts.php

I am however going to space it out over a greater period of time as set out below:

Claiming your journal: 5 Feb - 11 Feb
Building your soul armor: 12 Feb - 18 Feb
Inchies: 19 Feb - 25 Feb
Taped pages: 26 Feb - 4 March
My house: 5 March - 11 March
Paper Dolls: 12 March - 18 March
Collage Potpourri #1: 19 March - 25 March
Collage potpourri #2: 26 March - 1 April
Collage potpourri #3: 2 April - 8 April
Photocopies: 9 April - 15 April
Misfits: 16 April - 22 April
Self-Portrait: 23 April - 29 April

The dates are just a guideline - If you want to join but can't stick to the dates that's fine too!

I would love it if you could join me on this journey. Who knows - we might even learn a thing or 2 about ourselves and in the end we'll have a beautiful visual journal to show for it! Feel free to share your pages with us!

I would love to do this.  I am not sure that I Will be able to stick to the dates because if all goes well I will be moving during that time.... but since I will need to start packing soon.... I think these supplies would be perfect to leave out and work on this project!  What a great idea!  Thanks for sharing!

This sounds right up my alley!  If I can manage to do this and keep up with my homework, I'm down. =)

Gesso is a primer. Basically it makes pages stiffer. It prevents paint from soaking into the support (canvas, paper, wood, etc.), and it gives the surface a little more texture, so the paint sticks better.

I've decided to go with a bought journal. Am probably going to glue several pages together to give myself a stiffer and thicker page to work on. Can't wait to get started!
