Can you tell me about the cards....is it some sort of
patterned cardstock or are they plain cards covered with patterned paper?

I use scrapbook paper, its heavy weight (about cardstock weight, maybe a little lighter for some).  Is that what you were asking?

I've only bought cards with envies & decorated those
(they are plain white or colors)....
Have not thought of using scrapbook paper....hmmmm...
