i got a couple of plastic transparent colored alphabet stencil rulers from www.mantofev.com (gosh, i love that site, i get everything from her. i'm like a commercial for her!) anyway, i just placed it in a pan of boiling water until it was "soft" and used  tongs to help me shape it. i had to keep dunking it back in the water, but it turned out really awesome. i'll try to post some pictures when i have a chance.
also, if you use the search feature here for "ruler bracelet" there is another thread similar to this one that may help.

happy crafting!

Get a little plastic ruler and some boiling water, and drop the ruler into the boiling water for like 5 minutes, and than take it out and bend it into shape with your hands. It helps to have a towel if the plastic is too hot. That's how I would do it, atleast...

It's almost like those toothbrush or plastic fork bracelets.

What about one of those measuring tapes? You could just cut it and put a snap on the ends for a similar look..

just a thought!

This is the one I made (as stated above). The picture is a little weird, so you don't get the "full effect" but you get the idea.
 Sorry it's so super huge!

Oh man.  As soon as I can get me a measuring tape I can cut up, I am soooo trying that.

I'm drooling over this idea.

you're talking about those "soft" meausring tapes, right? like, that you'd use when sewing? Becuase that would be really cute! a great idea! and i know i've seen 'em some where in cool colors like green and pink. they could also work for a cute choker.
