Too many ideas, so little time!

Hi everyone! I just have one thing to show today. I had a request from a co-worker for a scarf with pockets or mittens attached, and while I found a few patterns, there was nothing I really liked so I just kind of winged it. This is my first time winging an item that I intend to give away. I really hope she likes it.

The mittenscarf in all it's glory.

Closer look at the mittens.

It's hard to tell here, but on the back part of the mittens that attach to the scarf (mitten on left), I just did single crochet, and on the top it's ribbed (mitten on right).

The best picture I have of it in action.

This is just to show kind of how it looks when it's on.

This is fantastic for those cold days and you don't have to worry about losing one of your mittens. You did a great job for not having a pattern and making it up yourself.

Thanks everyone. Smiley I've already had a request for another one, and the original was a hit. I think I might get some bright yarn and make a bunch of kid-sized versions over the summer to donate.
