My Handcock hasn't carried DMC for a while now, but on the up side. I just need to put backings on my hoops!

lamesauce, I don't have a hancock near me! There is one 40 minutes away ...

You think that's far away, it's a little further from here  ...  Cheesy  Wink

You're just trying to make me jealous, aren't you babalina? It's $1.70 a skein here for DMC, and $3-4 a skein for the fancy linens (oh how I want some!) and variegated and satins. Even with the exchange rate, it's not cheap!

I was so sad earlier today because there is not a Hancocks near me.

THEN!

I stopped by at Wal-Mart to pick up some packing stuff and lo and behold there was this big display of 5 yard bolts of fabric for $3 each! (each bolt was that much) A lot of it was totally cheesy and not my style but there were some great linens and solids that I will use for embroidery. It was especially strange because our Wal-Mart has never sold fabric.

I spent $30.. yep that is 50 yards of fabric. That I have nowhere to put, lol.

K well as some of you know from my past two swaps I do "black work". Well without giving too much away just remember to match your colors in the proper lighting when continuing........ 1/2 a hoop re-work Angry
Hope everyone had a great St. Pattys day!!!!!

Haha! Funny you say that, I was at the drug store today and they had snoopy dog beds. Basically giant stuffed snoopy turned into a bed. I took one look at it and decided the dogs would eat it and passed.
