I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, especially if it will add that special detail you want and or need.

A whole lot of stitching going on, and I'm not even close to finishing the one hoop. My second hoop is much larger too. It's turning out so awesome though I might have to make me one.

Super disappointed...I went to just about EVERY craft store in town, and they were all out of wooden embroidery hoops.  Looks like I'm going to have to order them online.

Kinda weird because I've never had this problem before.  Which one of you have been hanging out in my town, buyin' up all the hoops?! *shakes fist* jk Smiley

As long as only part of the piece is machine embroidered it's okay. We don't want the whole hoop to be done by machine but if it's just a bit to add an extra oomph to you're handstitching it's fine Smiley.

pjherbert - glad the idea came to you! It's great when inspiration strikes.

I FINALLY found some craft time to get started on my hoop. I've been working on hoop number 1 for about 6 hours now Smiley. There's still plenty left to do but it feels great to make progress.

LOL so I love that my best crafty friend and my hoopla partner are conspiring about mah hoops! LOL Cheesy

Ive got the larger of the 2 hoops drawn out on fabric so I just have to start stitching it now and I have the design for the second hoop but havent put it to fabric just yet.

My hubby was home on R&R (had to take him back today  Sad ) so I didnt craft anything for the 2 week he was here...but now that he is back to his deployment I shall get back to my crafts
