 my fellow hoopla hoopers....I did it.... I have put my hoops up with out any holes in my wall.....(at least no new ones)................. I now have a HOLELESS HOOPLA WALL.....

I'm usually okay using metallics, using shorter lengths, etc.  But I think I prefer the blending filaments(Kreiniks).  They are much nicer to work with.  I am lucky to have a really nice needlework store near me that carries a lot of the different ones.  I have also seen them at Michaels--but only the basics. 

Bought my fabric yesterday.  Just need to get it washed and my design printed out and I can get stitching.

Just checking in - I'm still here and alive! I was out for 2 days with a wicked migraine which left me in a dark room complaining that the cats are walking too loud, ha.

RE: Metallics - thread heaven is my savior. Love the stuff. And if you haven't tried the Sublime Stitching metallics, you definitely should - they rock! They tend to snag less and it comes in some great colors.

On the stitching front, I am going on to plan b. Unfortunately I'm not 100% what plan b is right now 

I had something sketched out but I just wasn't happy with what I was stitching. My husband said it was okay, but I wasn't thrilled with it, so I'm off to find something else for jungrrl!

I have my design finally all sketched out for both hoops....yey!
and I have most of my supplies picked out, hoops, floss etc.
I just need to pick a fabric... still stuck between options.

1st hoop mostly done...2nd in the works...I keep adding little bits to it so who knows when I will be done...I so wish I was a design...then work person ***sigh***I definitely follow the craftster moto..."measure twice, cut once....meh just start cutting!"  I call it passion.  my hubby calls it messy...to each his own!

Woo hoo!  I'm all done with other swaps, now I'm 100% on embroidering my partner's hoops!  Finishing the sketching today, getting fabric tomorrow, I should be actually stitching tomorrow afternoon! YARRRR!  HARRRRRRRR!
