Its a snow day here. This makes me sad since I had hoped to stop by the thrift store and craft store while the DD was at preschool. So instead I'm stuck inside. Thankfully I got my two hoops laid out last night and can begin stitching them. (If the kids don't drive me crazy that is)

I am hoping to work on my hoops in front of Dexter this evening.  Smiley  I have the best idea and have started to make everything come together.  I think it will turn out awesome.

I've got my hoops all set up, I just need to go buy some silver thread! Is the metallic stuff actually difficult to work with? I've never used it before...

it isn't too bad if you only use 2 to 3 strands at a time, but that is just from personal experience.

Pain in the tukus, but well worth it for the effect. I was using it on ribbon, not Addia, so I did not have pre-made holes. I love the finished product. I found I had to use shorter lengths than I am used to and the metallic and base thread separated at the needle for me. Strands do not stay twisted at all.

This is exactly my experience, too.   Wink
