Congrats to all the soon-to-be mommies in this swap! I can't wait to see the cute things you come up with.

On the stitching front, I am practicing TWO new techniques for my hoops. I am super excited about how it's turning out. I might have to make something similar for myself after making this one for Ryn. Smiley

Today I finished packing my project bag for the upcoming trip (I leave Sunday). I spent a few hours transferring my images onto fabric and picking out the colors I'll need for batgirl's hoops. Since everything is packed up all nice and neat I thought I'd offer a teaser picture:

Hope that holds you over until I'm back from vacation. Smiley

where did you get that awesome hoopla case?? did you make it?

Yes- I made it last week. Here's a link to the post I made showing more pictures and things: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=372876.0

And grats to everyone on the babies-to-be. Smiley Grace is such a pretty name. Part of the reason my husband and I are taking this big trip right now is because we want to start trying when we get back.  Cheesy

Yes PLEASE pm your group organizer. LimRiot has to forward a lot of pm's to her co organizers that only gets sent to her and that gives her, the Organizer, more to organize! Wink

Thanks pjherbert - I'll do that Smiley

I can't wrap my head around how to put this design I like into stitches. You wouldn't think it's that hard, but sometimes the most simple sketches are a pain in the butt! I thought it would work out with some tinting for aded effect, but now I'm not so sure. I need a mentor!

You could look through the pics from previous rounds to see if there's a hoop with a similar design/effect to what you want, then PM the stitcher to chat about how they did it? I'm guessing most (if not all) of us would be happy to share some suggestions and ideas. Smiley
