MissingWillow, that is an awesome package of wonderful goodies! The sweater basket is great and the pocket watch is so clever. The dog treats look delicious enough for human consumption .

Ditto on the pocketwatch! Its such a neat way to present it/protect it  And that sweater basket makes me want to get off my behind and try some sweater felting already!  Great job!

Thanks you guys!  One thing I would change on the basket is I wish I'd left the sweater side seams in place.  I've had it a while and had cut it all apart after felting it for some future project.  It would have been a bit larger if I'd been able to use those seams.  Just FYI in case you want to give it a go.

Schnerby is having some internet problems, so I thought I would post pics. Hopefully she will be able to post pics aswell, as mine aren't the best.

She mentioned how much she liked Goomba, so I sent her a crocheted Goomba.


The main item I sent was a crocheted Mario afghan. I had to. I was thinking of making some sort of Mario themed afghan for her and then I saw one of her first posts on this site. It was a color chart for a mario quilt. It was a sign. I couldn't resisit So it is made from her own pattern. I think it turned out pretty good. I'll probably make it again, but I will be taking a long break.  It took about a month, working on it almost every day, all day.

I am on the university computer and was about to post pics I took when I realised I took them on the other camera. I will get better pics and post them tomorrow.

Thanks so much! The work she put in is unimaginable. I've been watching TV with it and keeping it on my bed.

Oh and my crochet Mario has been bopping Goomba on the head. It's the way things work in Mario world, so I had to try it out.
