This is an absolutely gorgeous gallery.  I'm afraid to say that I still haven't sent.  I have the flu and have been in bed for three days feeling bloody awful!  I think I'm over the worst of it now and will make a start today.  I must say that I was a teensy bit relieved to find we have an extra day to craft although I do feel a tad guily as well as my partner WhiteSheep sent a great rug so promptly.  I hope mine will be worth the wait!

Thank you MareMare.  Well, I had a surprising burst of energy this morning and have reached the stage where my rug "sandwich" is all pinned and I've started tacking (basting?  Aren't the language differences funny? To me batting is called wadding).  It's looking like it did in my head, so that's good and I'm pleased with me fabric choices.  I got really tired though so had a Beecham's hot blackcurrant and came back to bed.  I'll finish tacking later and I'll see how I feel about the quilting and binding.  I was really worried I wouldn't send on time but I'm pretty determined that I will!

Glad you're feeling a bit better, littlebluegirl.

Robinpich/craftylittlemonkey - I'm loving the giant mug rug idea - Teesha Moore style! That would make a very awesome table cloth Smiley.

Oh my gosh, I've been checking in on the original thread, but neglecting the gallery! I've missed so much-- I actually opened a notepad file to keep track of my favourites.

The whale! The hedgehog! The flags/bunting (I love bunting... I know it's not supposed to be trendy anymore, but I do love it so)! I also love the quilt kwality570 received from CraftyDiem!

We've got some talented swappers here Smiley Both my rugs are going in the post tomorrow, hopefully they'll make a speedy trip to my partners!

I received the most lovely rug from dear MareMare yesterday!  (And you are all going to be jealous.)

Sewing is always a perfect theme for me as I run a costume shop for a living, and the beautiful black/white/red combo matches my office at work and at home!  I did in fact bring it in to work today and showed it off, and put it through it's paces during dinner break.  Thank you so very much MareMare.  Your work is always beautiful and I was such a lucky girl to get partnered with you.   Kiss

I'm so glad you like it Jennie! I really love how it turned out, I received that dress form fabric in a swap and have been hoarding it (although I have around a full yard!).

I realized that I didn't get a shot of the very adorable back.  Or an action shot for that matter.  Good thing I brought my camera to work today!  I just snapped a few more pics and will update with them when I get home.  (No card reader for camera on work computer.)
