This is a dress that I made last summer out of a slightly stretchy grey suit material. It was my first attempt at sleeves. They turned out perfectly! I put elastic into the tops of them so I could actually move my arms. Due to my glorious layer of insulating winter fat and a cheap zip, it tends to pop open. I might have to replace it or lose a few, whichever is easiest.

Sorry about the multiple posts today, I was limited on time for the holidays and finally took my state boards, so actually have free time enough to do this!

Nope, I've never used a pattern in my life! I tend to trial-and-error everything that I make.

I love this..a Hoodini maybe? This has a ton of options when it comes to wearing. This would always be in my overnight bag for easy great looks. Great job.

LOVE! Great job, I'm impressed. I wouldn't even know where to begin without a pattern.

That dress is ridiculously cute!

I'm also wondering... did you use a pattern? I'd love to know how to make this!

I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. - Agatha Christie

Ahh, hoodini, I love it beyond imagining! I think I'll be making a few more hoodinis in some stretchier fabrics. And for most of this I loosely based it on a hoodie tutorial somewhere on here. Like I said, it's mostly trial, error and the twisted mind that's needed to guess, sew, seam rip, repeat.

Does it have a zipper in the front? Or just a v neck?
