It's not a matter of size, but a matter of heart.

We were trying to explain to my spouse's mom the other day why we love to swap, since we both craft and do various arts. She didn't understand why we don't just ('just' as in 'only') make things for one another. It's so hard to explain to an outsider why it's so fun to get things in the mail that other people have made for you, and to send things to strangers or online friends. Alas!

Since I'm doing a HP swap elsewhere now, I think I'll just stash together some extras for whomever I end up swapping with here too!

I've also had to explain this to family members. I like getting things in the mail, but I think I especially look forward to someone elses crafting. I think my swap partners can create a craft for me, say a golden snitch, or scarf in a completely different way that I could.

Which has me so excited for this swap. The past galleries has me drooling for what I could potentially receive or create for someone.
