I've got this earmarked for my next project & was just wanting the opinion of those who have already finished.  I am a pear shape & am worried that it will look my butt look HUGE!  What are your feelings on this?

Thanks

You are too kind! It's a pretty easy sweater once you get past all the crappy translated-from-German over-edited directions.  Shocked

Alright, all of your gorgeous jackets convinced me to finally purchase the magazine.  I hope mine turns out just as well as everyone's here!

All of your sweaters look just beautiful! Before I go on a mad hunt for the pattern I was wondering:

when you knit the sleeves do you work from the shoulder down to the wrist? or do you work from the wrist up to the shoulder? Also I was wondering the same thing for the body of the sweater?

I have I a feeling that it starts from the bottom and works up. I'm just worried that the sleeves won't be long enough because I'm tall and have looong arms.

The whole sweater is knit from the bottom up. It would be really easy to change the sleeve length, though. Just measure your favorite sweater and either add ribbing at the beginning of the sleeve or add more rows in the length of the sleeve after finishing the chart. Very easy.

Hi,
I just completed my apricot jacket recently. Thought it might be helpful to post one made in a color that I have yet come across so far.  Tongue Aren't I mighty proud of myself. Anyway, hope you gals love it!
