I often wrap items in plastic wrap to waterproof them.

I also recommend that you trace the pieces (or photocopy the puzzle) so in case something vanishes, you have the shape to recreate it.  Though I've thought that decorating the "background" would be a way to add some varied layers to the whole piece.

Good idea, but I'm 'cheating' a bit. I bought a pack with 5 identical blanco puzzles. Easy enough Tongue

then I'm REALLY cheating because I have 4 of the same puzzle.  Cheesy  when I got into the first round, I had bought a pack of "puzzle cards".  they even come with their own envelopes.  lol

Excited much? I sent today - but to be fair, it's 60 degrees and sunny, and in my haste, I typed a poorly written letter to my partners and I forgot to trace my pieces.

I will spend the next two weekends searching for another 25-piece Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends puzzle.
But I'm with Mun, I will embrace the empty spaces  - which won't happen in this swap!

I will embrace the empty spaces...

I like that. I may make that a mantra... or a banner tattoo to go with my crafty tattoos.

Sad I missed out. The swap filled up before I could free up a swap spot to sign up  Sad

If anyone wants to do a personal swap working within the same deadlines as the official swap I'm love to hear from you. llisaredd i'll send you a PM too.

ETA: I probably should have mentioned that I'm in Australia - but it shouldn't cost much to send 2 puzzle pieces!

I have a 12 pc puzzle & I just PMed the two ladies on this page who asked about personal swaps, so assuming that works out, my puzzle will be complete from this swap <3  I'm excited.

Mine are on the way to my official partners - I have no clue how long the Hong Kong one will take so I'm glad I got it out early.  And I wore a sundress & flip flops to mail them so I really feel for those of you who can't even open your front doors!

GoddessGarb - I am so pleased with your theme!  I want a whole puzzle of it myself!
