I bought a child's puzzle at the dollar store to practice on.  It was actually in a package, two for a dollar.  I'm going to practice with one.. may look for another to use for the actual swap.  I'd like slightly larger pieces if I can find them.

Well after much debate I just decided to go with an artist's choice theme. I bought my puzzle today, the same one I always buy at Walmart for $2 for 25 good sized pieces. Cant beat that! Now off to work on some crafts to hopefully finish before sendouts of the pieces!

Just want to put something out there that was mentioned on StickerChic's questionnaire - signing the puzzle pieces.

We did this in the first two swaps and I agree with Sticker - I want to remember each maker. So in addition to the puzzle-owners numbers and arrows, please try to leave room for the maker to add a signature. You can always glue a signature on, after the piece is completed and the arrow is no longer relevant.

This sounds like a fun swap (I've never participated in one), but after thinking about it, I decided I would not join this one.  I'm afraid that my crafting abilities would not stand up to everyone else (after perusing some of the earlier entries).  But, I will be keeping tabs on this swap, and maybe I will join the next one.

Come on STG - dive in! None of us (that's the royal us) ever feels up to snuff. But it's fun to try new things. And practice makes perfect!
