Hi All,

I hope this is in the right place.

I'm planning on making this:

I'm going to stencil on the design on the inner panel of the skirt, but I really like the effect that she has. How do I get that? Flocking or embossing powder? Something else?

Please help,

Thanks!

They've used fabric with a satin-weave for this dress. Not something I'd recommend trying to copy with embossing or stencelling.
Is there no fabric market near where you live? They sell loads of this type of fabric around here for cheapo prices.

If it's the sleeve you mean (sorry, not clear to me) then it may be a print on or embroidered.
Just set the screen to 200% and the sleeve looks to be machine embroidered.

I agree--the panel does look like purchased fabric with the design already in it, and the sleeve looks embroidered. Good luck!
