Hello Cheesy Erm, I didn't know which category this belonged in - it's mostly recon, though, so I put it here Smiley
Anyways...
so for Home Economics, we had to create an outfit out of the old clothing in the classroom...basical ly, the outfit couldn't be anything "normal", like street clothes. Our instructions were basically to use old clothes, and be creative. We were allowed to create the clothes for someone else, if we wanted to. Because I know I suck at home ec and the time the teacher gave us in class probably wouldn't be enough, I asked him if I could do some of it at home...and he agreed Cheesy so I have pictures and stuff to post on here Cheesy

The whole thing is based off of Takeda Manami, an OC that my friend made up. Here are her details:
Name: Takeda Manami
Gender: Female
Age: ?? No one knows, probably high school age, but can pass off as a girl anywhere from 11 to 16
Hair: Pigtails, black
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5 feet, 2 inches
Background: Nicknamed the Joker, Manami looks cute on the outside, but is actually cold and calculating within.
Story background (well, some of it...I didn't go into plot details): Takeda Ren suddenly appeared from a mysterious background to the assassin syndicate, THORN. She rose to rank 1 of the syndicate within a very short time period because of her MPD, which she can somehow control. Each "character" within her has a different outward appearance and name, as well as a different uniform.

After I heard about it, I figured that Manami was based off of my friend (well, she's not cold and calculating, but her appearance...it's a joke between us that she can pass off as 11, her height is 5 feet 2 inches, and her favorite color is blue, sooooo...) So I told her about my home ec project and asked if she wanted to be the model, and she agreed Cheesy so after me failing repeatedly at sewing (really, sewing machines are...I don't know, they must hate me or something XD I ended up doing half of it by hand TT) I finally got the thing done Cheesy

ack, ignore the scrunched part of the skirt where I messed up sewing the black part and white part together TT I fixed it when I got to school, but I didn't have a chance to take another picture...

The back closes like this (really simple, I know):

Oh, and we met up so I could figure out her size before I started sewing, and she brought some old clothes that she thought I could use. This was originally a long sleeved shirt, but I cut the sleeves off...and I tried to start the white line, but I, er, failed. Yeah. XD I got it eventually, though! Cheesy

I really like her pigtails, too Cheesy *completely off topic /shot*

Anyways, all in all, I used...one blue long sleeved shirt (sorry, forgot to take a picture of that TT), two black leggings (one of them is shown Cheesy), one pair of black pants, part of a batman cape (er, I cut it before I realized that I forgot to take a picture...), and one white tank top. Oh, and 5 buttons, 4 of which I took off of some coat, and 1...well, I found it lying in the middle of the messy pile of clothes in the home ec room, so I don't really know XD

oh, and then the picture of Manami that I used to create the whole thing (my friend drew it...she says to ignore the green background, because she always makes it some crazy color while drawing to make sure that she doesn't color outside the lines, and she can never think of a good background to replace it with...)

er, comments, critique, anything is appreciated Cheesy

Oh that's so cool!
I love the design. That must have been a lot of work but if it's any consolation I think it turned out super awsome! XD

I actually just did a bunch of recon to make my own OC's outfit. I'm glad I'm not the only one on here!
