I forgot to take pics of the whole thing, but did get pics of the top before the transformation.

It looks a little orange, but it's more of a barn red. The hubby scraped the finish off. I painted two coats of raw umber milk paint, topped it with one coat of red milk paint and sealed it with a couple coats of tung oil.

I love it!!! I wish I had done this!! I was looking for a small hutch because we have a teeny-tiny dining room/kitchen in our apartment but I couldn't find anything that didn't suck.
I love the color and I love the knobs, they work perfectly with it.

a hummingbird once pooped on my cat out of pure spite, I swear.

Thanks! I lucked out. It was at a sort of fancy salvage place, but in their "as found" section so it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
