This is my second attempt at making a plushie - I wanted to make a round, cute, tennis-ball type plushie, but due to my complete lack of spatial awareness, I forgot that two circles only make a sort of chubby pancake shape!

He ended up looking a bit demented, so I added some gnashing teeth so he could look full-blown crazy.

He also has WINGS!

Here he is chilling with my cat:

Thanks for looking! If anybody knows how to make a (simple) round plushie (I don't own a sewing machine), please tell me!

Aw its adorable!

And if you are looking for a spherical pattern, this is similar to what I use- http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=sphere+pattern#/d363zld

Hope that helps! You can always browse that website or google for ways to create spheres and circles Smiley

Adorable!  Although, the cat looks less than thrilled, I suppose that's what cats do.

A round shape: you  know how a beach ball is put together?  Try to use the shape of one individual panel for your circle pieces.  If you're into math, you should make 6 panels, with a 30 degree angle at the pointy ends.  If you're not into math, do some mock-ups with non-fuzzy fabric first to find the right shape.  Good luck!

The picture with your cat is priceless. Your plushie looks so, so demented in that one (in contrast to your cat Tongue) - it's hilarious.

Some ready-made sphere pattern pieces are located here, just to add to the existing suggestions on this front. This place has them from three-part all the way up to ten-part, dependent on what type of fabric you're using.

Lol it's super cute. It kind of looks like the mentally-handicapped (in my opinion) Katie from Horton Hears a Who!
