I saw this piece right after it was posted and searched it out because I miscarried yesterday afternoon.  I want to thank you for having the courage to post and share this wonderful, and painful piece of art and for giving me strength and hope.

Thanks for posting this. I've had six miscarriages since I was a teenager, with one succesful live birth. It's really empowering and healing to see other people's work based around the experience. I hope you do try again. One miscarriage is very common, especially before 14 weeks. Hope you and your partner are coping as well as you can.

Thank you.  When I did this piece, I had no idea that anyone else would be able to connect with it.  It was done to cleanse my soul and ease my grief.  I'm glad that in my attempts to help myself, I ended up helping others.  Perhaps everything does happen for a reason?
