Yay! I'm so glad you like it! Don't throw a sonic screwdriver at me, but I have to admit that I've never seen Dr. Who. I've done (semi)extensive research on Youtube however, and that's what gave me the idea for the lapghan. I told my dad he had to buy the David Tennant seasons so I could watch. He's definitely drool-worthy!

LOL Its ok that you havent seen it, oh! btw if you have netflix you can watch them on your computer ^_^ and he is SSSOOOO Drool worthy Jexx!! He has a super cute nerdy thing about them!...But then again I have a major thing for nerds....and the card you sent me brackish is soo getting framed, I love it! Think I might be using the blanket too much too..certain tardis pieces are starting to ome off lol I will just sew them on!! Muwhahahahahaaa!

Oh dear! I was worried that that might happen. I'm not very good at sewing so I just used Liquid Stitch. Sorry!

I received the most amazing fabric basket and a car litter bag from sewingcybermom
They are both fabulous but I have to admit that I am totally in love with the basket.  It's funny because I was going to send her a basket but opted to make an afghan instead. I have never seen a basket made like this one before and just adore it.  It's holding some of my yarn to help keep me organized while I crochet.

I'll be posting up pics tomorrow Smiley

So that means we have just one more that needs to receive? Sweet! I think this would have been a really big swap if it had been timed better. A lot of people said they would have joined but had no space. So are we going to do it again?

She made you a basket?! That's so rad. Hey, I think I have some tutes bookmarked for making baskets. I should try it some time. Maybe on the next Swirlie round?

No, according to the dc she has received.  I hope she has at least Smiley

I took a few quick action shots.  The basket is big - I have 5 full skeins of Super Saver in it and I really love it.  Smiley

Now I'm nervous about what I sent.  I did my best. It was a new pattern and I was very rusty with the knitting machine.  I did crochet up a storm as well.  I'm going to post pics in the appropriate boards of the things I made Wink

2:38 am and just getting home!  I did get my package and wow is it loaded!  I love everything!  I'll post pics tomorrow. I don't think the family would appreciate my flash going off now.  Thanks Jen!

Oh my gosh!!!!  I called my friend Sharon and left a message on her cell...got a call from my daughter's best friend saying that she got a message saying, "Hi Sharon, sorry I missed you, it's Dee.  Call me when you can".   I need to sleep for a week or so.  My hubby has my camera card in work. I'll post pics when he gets home in the morning.  Geez....

Brackish Potato & anubisheart - I actually started watching the Doctor Who series a bit ago.  I just wasn't enjoying season 1 so I was kind of trudging through it but now I'm almost through Season 2 and really enjoying it a lot.  I had also started to watch Torchwood but I stopped watching it and am just concentration on Who.
