So I was suppose to have this done for my boy for Christmas... whoops! He should at least get it by Valentines Day, if I can just get it shipped off in a timely manner. Good enough time for it too, it's cooooooold in Canada.
It's a Ventus and Roxas inspired scarf!
The emblem to the left is Roxas' thorn zipper pull and to the right is the Mark of Mastery symbol that Ventus (as well as Terra, Aqua, and Eraqus) wears in KH Birth By Sleep.
I need better pictures but all I have is a cell phone. I will take some better ones when I can borrow my mothers camera.

It was cold when I was going home this morning, so I gave it a test run. It's wide enough to cover my whole face! I'd definately make it a bit thinner if I made one for me. It's also probably a good 7 feet long. I wanted it to have 13 pairs of checkerboard squares (Roxas is number 13 of Organization XIII and it's a reccuring them throughout the series) plus it has 13 tassles on each end.

It's actually a forum set (To go above and below each of your posts on sites that have the ability) that I created for him too. The characters look the same for a reason. But I won't spoil that here!
This took me almost 5 months to finish! Jeeze, if I would have just worked on it more rather then procrastinating I probably could have had it done sooner. I took a long time worrying over how to do the emblems. First I wanted to try tunisian crochet, but couldn't find the right hook. Then I thought about just cutting them out of felt and stitching them on, but I really wanted them integrated more. Finally I just decided I'd try my best to do the color changes, made up a "sprite" for each one and went for it. When Roxas' zipper pull didn't quite come out, I just did a chain stitch around it so you could tell what it was actually meant to be. I think it came out pretty nice, and I hope it gets a lot of use once it arrives safely through customs and to my boy.
