I dropped off the face of the earth for a while. Midterms and work have done that to me though. This weekend is for crafting! And for writing an essay... boo Sad.
I guess I should put down A Storm of Swords, and finish Paradise Lost. Hrumph.

Should, want, these things always get confused in my mind.

Also, anyone else enjoying the House specific trailers?

YES! There's a lot of footage in there, and it's looking really awesome. I think they cast every Lannister perfectly.

Oh I agree! I especially think Jaime is perfect. From the trailers I already find Cersei more likable than she is in the books. We will see though.

rereading the books and I find i'm skipping all the Stannis/Davos parts ... even though the first time around I really liked Davos.

I kind of feel the same way about Davos. He's really cool and all, but I guess I just ended up more interested in everything that was going on. Thinking of having him in another book makes me groan a bit. I want to know what happens to him, but I dislike Stannis so much.

It is so funny how that happens. I like Stannis and Davos, it is the Iron Island stuff that I have a hard time paying attention to. I like Asha, but that is about it.

I'm reading A Storm of Swords for the first time now and loving it. Well, except Davos, and Jamie kind of annoys me at times. Oh and the fact that Martin sometimes seems to presume things about women and what they'd think/ how they'd react that seem highly unlikely. Otherwise I love it.
Crafting is on hold until I finish my LV swap and then I will be back in full force.

It is now March 25th. That means there are only 3 and 2 days until HBO runs the first episode of Game of Thrones! More importantly, that means there's only three weeks of crafting time left. Since I never noticed before that the 17th of April is a Sunday, I'm going to bump back send outs one day. This means the SEND OUT DATE IS NOW APRIL 18.

On the note of sending, we have our first sender. Congrats, Myrdda for being on top of your game! I have posted the gallery page to make sure we can start celebrating the awesomeness that you all are working on. Here's the link, and there is also one at the bottom of the first post of the thread.

Now that house keeping is done, have you guys seen the character profiles they've been doing on HBO? They are also pretty outstanding.

There are now only two weeks left to finish crafting your projects! There has been one sender, and so far they haven't received yet. If this is incorrect, please let me know. You guys have been a little too quiet; you've got me spooked.
