This may just be the cutest hat I have ever seen. I would totally wear one of those. So creative & awesome!

Those are amazing! You're very talented. Do you crochet the hat and then sew the crocheted octopus, or whatever you're making, to the hat or is the picture part of the hat?

I'd call them winter hats because beanie is a weird word.

Hi: Thanks a lot for passing. I realized that here in Finland people use industrial designed for massive consumption hats without any magic and any personality. Streets are gray and people walk around with their clone-like hats for so many months that becomes monotonous. I got frustrated so I decided to get those hats and turn them into new ones with designs of sea creatures and flowers. I decided also that each hat will have a unique design and the person who wear it will be the only one. So I crocheted my ideas in the hats and the people choose them according with their taste and what they want to project around.
Thanks again for passing Cheesy  have a lovely day.

Great color combination and wicked old school hat type! I like it alot when the butterfly trail goes around the whole hat! Gives motion to it! SUPER NICE! =D

They are even better with the story you told about why you make them!  I love the idea of you cheering up an entire country Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

thanks!  I love the hat pattern I have been using lately, really easy but has a great texture!
yes it doesn't show, but the butterfly trail goes into a trail and a spiral all the way to right by it all the way around the hat

Winter hat to me sounds so generic... on the west coast where I grew up they are called beanies, but here in the south they're called toboggans (like the sled!). I always thought a tocque was more like a really floppy beret? Like the striped red, green and yellow hats that a lot of rastafarians wear. What ever you call them, they're adorable. ^_^
