i really want to make a quilt, but i don't know how to start! i just wanted to know what in need to create one, about how much it will cost, where i can buy the materials needed, how long it takes to create one, and some helpful tips and tricks that has to do with quilts. thanks! also see my other posts!

HI there! I would suggest first starting with a quilting book from the craft store or the library. There's so  much information to try to get in one post, but the most basic items for quilting include a rotary cutter, cutting mat, and ruler. You might even want to take a basic quilting class at your local craft store.

Pretty much any quilting book you find should have a good couple of chapters on starting out, but I am partial to Donna Kooler's Encylopedia of Quilting (also her Encylopedia of Crochet and of Needlwork are great too!)
